Small towns in Michigan are wonderful, but the larger cities can be overwhelming. However, Troy Michigan has been growing rapidly over the past few years and now ranks fourth in its metro area. Troy was incorporated in 1950 and is home to some of the oldest skyscrapers in Michigan and is also the headquarters for the University of Michigan and Chrysler.

Troy is also home to the Michigan Olympic Training Center, which is one of the finest training facilities in the country. The Tug Hill River is one of the largest tributaries of the Kennebec and is a popular spot for canoeing, rafting, and kayaking. You can also fish in many ponds that are located throughout the city, such as on the shores of Lake Huron.

Troy also has great golf courses, and if you love the game of golf, you will enjoy visiting many of the golf courses that are in the area. If you are looking for a fun activity for the entire family, you will enjoy visiting the Taurus Golf Course, which is located on the west side of Troy.
