Oakland County Michigan

Oakland County Michigan is an area of the U.S., located west of the Detroit metropolitan area. It’s part of the metro Detroit area, situated northwest of downtown. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, its total population was 916,919, making it Michigan’s sixth largest county. The county seat is Oakland.

The counties of Oakland are: Oakland, Calhoun, Columbia, Essex, Genesee, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Livingston, Madison, Macomb, Monroe, Oceana, Putnam, Sanilac, Sturgis and Washtenaw. There are also cities and townships in Oakland which make up Oakland County Michigan: Ann Arbor, Benton Harbor, Blue Springs, Cleveland, Detroit, Flint, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Muskegon, Novi, Owosso, Saginaw, Sparta and Warren. This county also includes Sturgis and Washtenaw counties which are not considered part of Oakland County Michigan as of this time.
