Ingham County Michigan is an unincorporated area located in the state of Michigan. The population as of the 2020 census was 260,567.

The largest city in Ingham is Lansing. Lansing is the state capitol of Michigan and is located within the unincorporated area. Lansing is where the University of Michigan campus is located. It is also home to many major corporations including Ford Motor Company.

The second largest city in Ingham is Mason. Mason is home to the University of Michigan Medical School. In addition to the medical school there are several other large corporations which also call Mason home including Ford Motors.

The third largest city in Ingham is Benton Harbor. Benton Harbor is home to the City of Port Huron. This city is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. There are two military bases in Benton Harbor that are located nearby. Both of these bases are important to the military, since it provides a safe place to conduct training exercises.

The fourth and smallest city in Ingham is Novi. It is located between the communities of Saginaw and Genesee. The population in this city is just over two thousand people. Novi is home to a golf course. It is the fifth largest city in Ingham.

The sixth largest city in Ingham is Marquette. Marquette is located within Ingham’s city limits and is a suburb of Lansing. There are several suburbs within Ingham, but all of them are within a ten minute drive of both Lansing’s downtown.

The ninth largest city in Ingham is Novi. Novi is located on the south side of Lake Michigan. It is the home of the Michigan Central Railroad. This railroad line is one of the main transportation routes into and out of Ingham.
